In this multi-media experience, the audience followed a trail through the ‘labyrinth’ of the backstage spaces of The Albany Theatre London 1997 and Tramway, Glasgow 1998. They encountered various representations of masculinity associated with the Minotaur myth, and the show included a wide range of commissioned artists working alongside the Mischief core crew. Installations, monologues, dance, painting, comedy, physical theatre and sculpture all featured in this ambitious show, and the project serves as a good example of what can be achieved when given access to unusual locations.

Collaborating artists included: Ken Campbell, The Divine David, Andre Stitt, Anne Seagrave, Graeme Wilcox, Mr. Miller & Mr. Porter, Yves Steiner, Paul Johnston, Jeremy Robins, Steven Anderson and Diane Torr.

‘For sheer scale of imagination and endeavour this venture is an appropriately provocative and worthy finale to this past Tramway phase’ The Herald
